Health Team 9 Psychologist, Dr. Steve O'Brien says new research suggests being consumed with cleanliness can have implications on physical and mental health. Dr. O'Brien says cleanliness is definitely healthy, but the more obsessed someone is with 'grime fighting,' the more likely the immune system is being weakened. He says a weakened immune system can mean people are more likely to get sick, have more problems with allergies and asthma.
